Audio 2 DJ Cueing Problem

Hello,

I just bought and installed the new Traktor Pro 2,
And i have a Audio 2 Dj.

My computer is a MACBOOK Pro 2011:

Mac OS X
Version 10.7.2
2.4 Ghz Intel Core i7
4GB 1333 MHz DDR3

I've installed all drivers and everything up to date.

After i installed the audio 2 dj, It connects perfectly with the mac. I try to use it in traktor for cueing(listening the song that is not on the master speakers), but only the A Channel LED comes on, the B doesn't even blink when i have this settings:

Internal Mixer

Output Monitor:
L: 3: Ch B Left
R: 4: Ch B Right

Output Master:
L: 1: Ch A Left
R: 2: Ch A Right

So i can't listen to the track in cue.

What is wrong with my set up? I really need help on this!

I have exactly the same problem. Worked for about 2 years and suddenly yesterday I have the same issue.

I've never used the internal mixing mode w/ Traktor, but I'm using an A2DJ myself.. Did you try doing the opposite settings with A > monitor and B > master?

 

I found the problem when using the latest update of Nicecast.

In the settings for Nicecast on the main screen
SOURCE

then select Traktor Pro

then click advanced

In standard mode
select Audio 2 DJ in target device
output Left as : 3
output right as: 4

then go to traktor settings and change the outputs to Left 3 and Right 4.
Input monitors to 1 and 2

That seemed to clear all my problems when broadcasting.

Not sure if that is your problem but it cured mine.

I just bought my Audio 2 interface yesterday and was able to get the cueing to work last night in Traktor. I will check to see what settings I was using when I get home tonight and let you know.

My problem is that I can't get anything to come out of OTS AV to the cue channel, only the main. OTS recognizes the Audio 2 just fine but won't output the cue channel to it.

I FIXED IT! YEAH!

SO... Here is how to do it..

Just do the

Output Master
Channel A left
Channel A Right

Output Monitor
Channel B left
Channel B right

Then go to Mixer>Crossfader and click it!

Then on the crossfader bar, on the right side you have the output monitor volume and the direction (Cue or mix) Change it and it works perfectly!
