I realize that this has probably been discussed before, and I have searched through the forums for quite a bit but I did not find such as specific question or answer.

My set up: Windows 7, Traktor Pro 2.1.2. Controller X1, 2 Audio and an external mixer (not sure it matters).
Laptop is Core2Duo P9500 @ 2.53ghz, 4gb RAM and a 120GB SSD drive. I am using 2 decks and thats it. I get dropouts mostly when I am messing with the X1 and sometimes just during playback. I dont want to ruin my settings but How exactly does a reduction vs increase in Sample rate, Latency and USB latency affect my set up? Is there a performance based "Max Setting" or is it bad at high AND low? The Manual doesnt really clarify to a point where I understand. Thanks!
