Audio 2DJ + Traktor LE + Vestax VCI-100

Hi,

I've got problem with setup mentioned in the topic. Previously I used EMU-404 USB and everything worked perfectly fine, except that I couldn't monitor the other deck. I'll write everything I experienced and count on you in solving my problem:

1) After installing Audio 2DJ and using Traktor LE, which was installed before I couldn't use effects with Vestax VCI-100 - buttons responsible for controlling effects just didn't work.
2) I reinstalled Traktor LE using CD attached to Audio 2DJ.
3) After running reinstalled Traktor LE:
- controlling effects still doesn't work. I even don't have option to choose predefined settings for my midi controller
- when I push ANY button, I hear the sound of a piano - WTF! I just click "Play" button and there's a single piano sound attached to this button. I set CUE and hear the single piano sound, but in different key. What is that!

I didn't use any psychoactive substances during the process. I'll be glad for helping me in solving problems mentioned in point 1) and 3).

Seem some Application use your VCI-100 Midi in port (VestaxPC Controller)
and yes ALL OF BUTTON THAT YOU CAN PREES in VCI-100 is Assigned to MIDI NOTE
IN Channel 1 include your touch jog
In your case ..your TRAKTOR LE should completely Don't response to VCI-100 mean Your VCI cannot control TRAKTOR LE...
Try use Setting Wizard On Help Menu in Traktor.....seem best option for use Ni2Dj and VCI-100
+ Try to Remove your traktor and renew installation

I think Piano sound is coming from Kind of a Soundfont program that most Creative hardware usethat

But piano sound appeared after reinstalling Traktor, using CD which was inside the box with Audio 2DJ - I'll try to remove Traktor and install it via CD attached to Vestax VCI-100. Bit confusing, cause I don't see why Traktor LE is different than Traktor LE...

I'm sure, that VCI-100 works perfectly fine - I used it before installing Audio 2DJ. All my problems started after changing soundcard .

edit: ok, I just installed Tractor which I had with my VCI-100 and everything works fine. Strange though!

 

I too had the piano sound with a numark stealth and after over an hour on the phone to both Numark and NI the problem was still there.

I ended up just muting the midi and line in in the sound settings.
