Audio 4 dj mixed setup?

Hi, I'm trying to control traktor with a vinyl timecode on deck A and a timecode cd on deck B, but traktor doen't calibrate deck b in vinyl mode, in line mode traktor doesn't calibrate deck A, an in phono mode doesnt calibrate deck B.

How can I do it?(if it's possible)Thanks

 

The problem is that the Audio 4 inputs work by pair.. so they are either both phono, or both line, but can't be one of each.

What you need to do is to bring the Vinyl deck signal to Line level.; Some decks already have that option (Stanton ST150, Numark 500), or you can buy an RIAA Preamplifier off your local electronics/hi fi store which will replace the ones included in the Audio 4.

i'm currently making up my mind about exactly the same question but with a slightly different setup!

i'd like to plug three 1210 turntables to the audio 8 which has only two preamps, so i was making up my mind about pluging an external preamp between turntable 3 and the audio 8...

nobody was able to tell me if traktor recognizes that amplified signal as a valid timecode signal, yet!

Are you sure the Audio 8 doesnt pre-amp all 4 input channels ?
I have a felling otherwise ...

 

100% sure phono preamps are only buit on the 1st two stereo channels

 

Yep Mr Goonzy is correct. The Phono Preamps are only on 1 and 2. There may be preamping going on on 3&4 but its not Phono. I Think the tech specs note this.
