Audio 4 issue

my audio 4 in headphone out preview only previews channel 3/4..means i only hear deck 2 in preview...os that normal?

Sorry for this basic answer, but have you read the page 12 of the 'Getting Started' user manual ?
1 : Headphone Volume
... 'The headphone Output is connected to the output channel B'

^^Are you in internal or external mixer mode when doing this? Of course if you're in external all you're going to hear is the deck B output, but if you're in internal mixer mode, you've got deck A cued up and routed to monitor and you still only hear deck B, then there's a problem.

 

I posted on this somewhere else but I'll briefly restate my problem which is similar:

The headphone volume (even at max) is VERY low on the Audio 4 DJ.

Also, I hear both tracks, instead of the one I'm trying to cue.

Any ideas as to what might be wrong?

 

Check that you change to line (input line selector) in your audio 4 dj with the Settings tool (inside audio 4 dj driver folder)

Then you have to use the crossfader and heaphones icons to listen to both decks.(manual pg 16 -20)
