You need a Scratch version of Traktor. If your Traktor 3 is Scratch capable The interface my be too new to be supported.

Traktor LE isn't scratch enabled, it only has the most basic of functionality.

i also have T3 and i cant get it to work in that either it says scratch disable.. i never had this problem when i had audio 8 linked with the T3 program.. so the way i c it is NI are selling this on faulse pretence as it wont work with timecoded ? so why sell it without a scratch program ?
    ---
they are sayin it will work with scratch so you mustnt of set the routing tracking.. i have and still cant get it to work.... VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS

Ok, it is nothing to get angry about.

Audio 8 is old. It was released with Traktor Scratch. PRE TSP.

Audio 6 is new, released with TSP2.

Traktor 3 was discontinued a long time ago, hence why there is no support.

Ty downloading the demo of TSP2 and see if you can get it to work?

I have just read in another thread that TSP 1 and previous don't support the Audio 10/6 for timecode at all and as chris said correctly LE has no timecode functionality.

To get the demo go to the Product page of TSP2 and go to Demo & manuals.

ok so after a week of trying to find out about this i emailed NI.. just read the reply that says.....Timecode is only working in 'TRAKTOR SCRATCH PRO or SCRATCH DUO' versions, so jaysanders i would say your problem is tracking..

Ok, the Audio 6 works with TSP1 FACT, it works.

Why have you not got an Audio 8 with TSP1?
When did you get the Audio 6?
Which version of TSP have you got (build number)

The solution is quite easy but im curious as to why you have TSP but no Audio 8.

Have you selected 'Scratch Control' from the pull down me menu. Small triangle under the Deck Letters (A, B, C, D).

First of all, lets curb the albeit abbreviated language. You must be doing something wrong.
How can TSDUO simply not work. Your last attempt did not work and now this is not working so i can only deduct that you have not read the setup manual.

If you open Traktor and in the tool bar go to Help > Setup Wizard, you will see the option for Audio 6. That will set Traktor up for use with the souncard.

Well you didnt mention that till now. So it isn't a fault or bad software or useless NI stuff, its an unscrupulous retailer.

Ok thats not right at all. Most likely its been used on display or demo.

You should take it back to the retailer and demand an unregistered box.

You can get the retailer to unregister it via support form which may be a good option for you but personally I would be dubious of any store that sold used goods as new.

If you need any further advice on deregistering or transfering ownership of Traktor I can help but be aware that the retailer or whoever registered Traktor first must be the one that does it. You cannot unregister the software because you are not the registered owner of it despite having bought.
