Audio 8 and channel failure?

I heard a guy on the Serato forum mention the Audio 8 and how it's known to occasionally experience channel failure. Is there any merit to this claim?

 

what exactly do you expect to hear about the audio 8 on the ssl board?

if you ask me: the A8 worked always like a charm.

ok I'm not 100% sure that this a related situation but hey its worth a shot.....ok so recently I had purchased 2 new TS vinyl' due to calab. failure. To make this story short, I used the vinyl deck A is cool and went to the vinyl mode,deck B how ever is a calab failure and I dont understand....i switched from my vestax07 to my Mackie D2 and I am still having the same problem....gimme some posibilities and more trouble shooting guidence. I did check my settings and made sure they were all good as well. But any recomendations are welcome.

Ok you are not the only one

coincidentally it is also the same channel for me the channel 3 on the audio8 flashes red for the most part and occasionally it will turn green.
With that I am having a calibration error. Very iratating. :angry:
