Audio 8 DJ Software lock

    I have an issue with the audio 8 sound card a little red light with software lock appears on the sound card now i can take this off in the audio 8 settings but it reappears with i select any thing rfom the input button on the souncard.

    Also in the audio settings on Traktor itself the audio 8 is only being picked up as core audio - there for I cannot use the sound card to its full potential.

    If any one has experienced this problem please advise - I am a mac book pro user and all my driverss are up to date

    i just figured out that you can hold in the "input mode" when you attach the USB to unlock the "software lock".
    just an old trick i've learned over the years working with different devices. Hope it will help anyone in the same situation..
