Audio 8 Routing For Recording To An External Laptop/program...

    Hi,

    Im running traktor scratch pro 1.2.7 on a macbook pro, Im looking to record to a seperate laptop running cool edit connected via a ESI Maya 44 USB Soundcard, I tried running a cable from the headphone port on the Audio 8 to the analog in 1&2 ports on the Maya soundcard and attempted to record through Adobe soundbooth,which it did, but the recording had lots of background fuzz in the background, maybe the gain was too high?Ill try again with it lowered, but my main question is, can I hook the set up any other way that will allow me to record to this laptop/cool edit program without it sounding so god awful...?Any help would be greatly appreciated...may thanks,
