Hello, I lost my way and I need help back on track. My set up includes the following pieces

    Audio 8 Traktor Scratch Pro
    Rane MP/XP 2016 Mixer
    2 CDJ1000 Pioneer Decks
    2 X1 Kontrols

I really need to step back to the beginning and connect everything correctly. I need to know the dummies guide to connecting Audio 8 to a mixer. The three pronged wiring system which was once easy has now got me confused. Furthermore, I need to understand how to calibrate my inputs/outputs in Traktor. Nothing I am doing is working correctly and now im lost!

essentially, I'd like to use one Kontrol to control two decks and the CDJs to control the second two (using the second Kontrol for effects and browsing, etc) - Is this possible?

So, to review, a quick guide to the exact wiring I need (and to what channels), and confirmation that I can use the set up as laid out above.

Thank you in advance for your help!

It's all there in the manual. If you view the multicores as just a simple splitter it makes a ton more sense. CDJs into the Audio8's inputs A and B, and those outputs to the Rane's desired CD/Line input channels.

And yes, I believe you can indeed map one KX1 to run transport (the two decks) and the other to run effects. It's all in the preparatiom.
