Hello - new to the forums and wanted to ask for some help.

So I had traktor 3.4 on my laptop and was running mixes just fine - switched to traktor LE and waiting for the upgrade to come April 1st then will go 'pro'. Before I go further here is my setup:

    Compaq Presario Laptop
    Windows Vista SP2
    AMD Turion Dual-Core RM-70 2 Ghz
    3 Gb RAM
    32 bit o/s
Stanton SCS3 system (the full 2 decks and mixer)
    Audio 2 DJ

Now is the laptop above to slow to run the new traktor? (Which would be sad as I already paid for the upgrade) The reason I ask is that, like I said I was mixing fine before but then with LE after a little bit or if I get a little crazy with what I'm doing - say adding FX switching back and forth between decks etc it starts to crackle, pop, slow down and generally just sound nasty - no amount of tweaking could save it if it were a live performance. I switched to LE because the scs3 system had a preset ready for it and I didn't feel like mapping it out manually.

My laptop is already running the bare minimum of devices and I have all the new drivers for everything, have tried all different kind of latencys and also tried just running traktor le with just a mouse and keyboard, disconnecting everything and after a little while the cpu meter goes into the red and the noise begins.

Sorry for all the info just want to make sure you get a clear idea of what im facing and what ive tried. I love using traktor and would like to continue doing so. Any advice would be great.

    Thanks!
    DJ GE

    2.0.13.1

That is the driver I am running - I know there is a newer one out - but I uninstalled it and reinstalled this one as it only made the audio worse.

Okay most Win users say the 2.0.15 driver works flawless.
    What is your latency setting?
Try something between 5 and 11 sec
