i basically use a macbook pro 2.53ghz intel core 2 duo, with 4gb memory, and im running traktor pro 2 with an m-audio fast track pro soundcard,

and on saturday night just gone, audio dropped out twice! now i dont whether its down to the amount of programs i have on my mac (non of them are open while im djing) and obviously have airport turned off etc!

but someone mentioned that it could be the latency settings...

    http://lockerz.com/s/132176858

...heres a picture of my settings at the minute (Sample rate: 44100Hz, Latency: 512, Overall output: 13.6ms)

and also the person who told me to lower the latency settings said that lowering the overall output to between 8ms - 12ms should be a better option

im not sure whether the solution could be somethin as easy as buying a NI Audio 8 DJ Soundcard, an maybe that would solve the problem!

But i cant tell any differences in sound when i lower the latency settings in internal mode, it pretty much sounds the same on most of the settings...

    can someone help please
