currently i`m using the beta a lot to work on my own ensemble(s) and i noticed recurrent appearing audio dropouts.Don`t know if the reason is that i`m working on an ensemble that i started on R4.Didn`t test enough with the current library (or new additions like lazerbass)but i afair i have no dropouts when i use the"new"stuff.I had no dropouts working with 5.1.

I use it standalone, latency is 256 samples (tried it also with 512 samples).Never had problems with the latency.

    Macbook 2,4
    10.5.8.

I would test with some more of the factory ensembles; if you don't get any drop-outs with them, I would suspect that it is your ensembles rather than 5.5.

I´ll test it later. For now i`m just like a junkie in building my stuff :)

anyway, there where no dropouts with 5.1 and my own stuff. So,i`m not sure who is guilty now.

I hear what you're saying, but unless you find/give a bit more information, just saying "I get audio dropouts" isn't really going to help anyone, is it?

That`s right. But what could i say?It makes"plopp"from time to time and it doesn`t matter what i`m doing. So i can leave my finger from the keyboard, stop the clock and just listen to the "plopps"or"crackles".

I figured out now that it probably has something to do with my current work.I"emulated"an old Juno Chorus for my current synth ensemble -even (or better to say:especially ;) ) with the noise/hum behaviour. Not sure if(and what) i did something"wrong".

well, that`s just a bit TOO much emulation of "broken" equipment :D

If you have a couple interfaces, try selecting the one you normally don't work with and then switch back to your normal one. I've seen cases where the interface needs to be reselected in that manner.
