audio interface or soundcard with maschine

ok i just bought my maschine like 3 days ago and just realized i don't have a sound card or audio interface is it necessary to run my maschine?

 

You don't need an audio interface to run Maschine. You just usb straight into your computer. If you don't have a sound card in your computer, you're gonna have problems with more than just Maschine. Any computer needs a sound card to produce sound.

 

well i havnt had any problems so far so im guessing im ok i have midi controllers and mpc's hooked to it already and runs like a champ but was just asking cause i saw a video on youtube with a guy talking about the maschine and said you "needed" a sound card

 

sounds like you already have an internal soundcard so you're good.

casio CTK 491 (61 key)
akai MPD 18
and just waiting for my maschine to get here using reason 4 and FL studio

 

let us know how the lpk works with maschine software. thinkn of getting one for travel with my laptop. dont wanna take maschine hw out the house
