Audio Kontrol 1 Driver not installed...

    Hi,

    I can get my 64 Vista to install that Driver. It says; Failed to get information about the installed devices that match to F:\Program Files (x86)\Native Instruments\Audio Kontrol 1 Driver\ak1usb.inf. It works fine in 32 bit XP. What to do?

    I am haveing kinda same troubles but with my 32bit Vista ...
    it's super annoying thu i am in Thailand ...and would like to write some music ... grrrrrrrr

    Failed to get information about the installed devices

    Instruments\Audio Kontrol 1 Driver\ak1usb.inf'.


    so i hope NI starts to care a bit about their customers and will answer some time ...

    Welcome =)

    If you look at the Vista information here on the site, you'd see that Vista64 drivers aren't coming until later this year.

    However khainz, you on the other hand shouldn't be seeing this. What driver version are you trying to install? Have you tried a different USB port?

    i tryed about 3 different driver installs new ones from the NI Site (not the Install Cd ... because i left it back home)...also the updates ... but those seem to be not mutch of a sense to install without haveing the card recognized by the computer ...

    i tryed all my USB Ports ... all of them are USB 2 ...

    my Notebook is HP ... with Vista 32bit version ...

    i guess i will do a downgrade if possible ... haveing lots of issues with Vista ...

    but i'm not at home for a month ... and should work as well ...
    so i can't just downgrade now because there is no Backup from my HD yet ...

    Help would be mutch apreciated ...

    Please add some details to the error description and tell us exactly at which point this error message appears. A screen shot of the error message window would also help us.
