Hey all.. After a week of frustration and actually forgetting about it, I think I stumbled on the correct way to setup Audio Midi.

    1) Connect both decks to computer
    2) open audio midi application
    3) in the lower left corner, hit the '+'
    4) on the right half of the screen you'll see a list, select the 2 Pioneer CDJ-400 (i'm assuming its' the same procedure for the 800.. but i don't own any, so don't quote me)
    5)click configure speakers
6)mid way you'll see "Stereo|Multichannel" Select Multichannel and in the pull down menu right beside it, select Quadraphonic
    7) at this point you'll see 4 speakers come up and the top pair should be 1 and 2, the lower 3 and 4

    8) click "done"
    9) rename the new aggregate device you just created to something like "Both Decks" or whatever floats ur boat.

    10) open Traktor and in the Audio routing, the A deck Front 1 L, Front 2 R and deck B Both decks 3 L, Both Decks 4 R (I don't know why it comes up like this... but it should work)

    and voila

now if someone could explain why the sound gets a little choppy or after 40 minutes, switches side.. I'd be most grateful

    cheers
