"audio mute" button in the sound audio control area - resolved

    just discovered this "audio mute" button (and was excited that perhaps i can control this with midi seeing as there is a learn function) but it appears that it doesn't mute the instrument slot, ei sound continues...

    i tried looking this up in the manual and searched online but i can't seem to find any further information about this button other than it should mute either the group or the sound slot...so, just wondering what this may be used for, perhaps for loops only?..or could this be a bug?

    any insight would be appreciated...

    ah, i think i get it now..

    this switch is to allow the triggered sound to finish off when the track is muted (when off) or to abruptly kill all of it with no tail (when on)...

    so, it's not a mute switch, just a setting on how the muting will be applied to the triggered sound...
