I noticed that I am having issues with an intermittent Pop going throught the system when I am previewing tracks and nothing running on any channel with all the levels down except the master. You would see the level on the output meter turn blue then an audio POP on the system. This also happens when I play live with music playing. I've upgraded RAM and all systems setting are set for maximum performance and there is no CPU spikes or overloads and I am set at 192 samples. Do you think NI should offer a rebate to its PC customers for the poor performace?

I gave up on this Audio card in the S4, I'm using the AUDIO 8, like i want to carry more stuff!

    Download latencymon...
Even the s4 control panel will show usb i/o errors specifically when you are hearing these pops. The problem really is the s4 software can't communicate with the s4 fast enough... the driver isn't maximizing the chipset or something like that.

For me turning off wifi really helps, you may also consider buying a high quality usb cable and putting those magnet things on either end. I know of some other controllers that had these issues solved by getting a usb cable that had a "usb high speed 2.0 certified" tag on it and then throwing those ferrod things on the ends.

Are you talking about ferrite core cables? I have those and have the WIFI turned off and did the latency test. it says it should have no problems. But the issues continue. :(

    Frustrated!
