Audio pops and clicks

Hi. I'm on traktor pro and use a hp dv6 series laptop on windows 7 64 bit and am using my Idt internal sound card and use the asio4all driver. I am hearing pops and clicks in my music in traktor. It dosnt happen in iTunes or YouTube or even virtual dj so I'm sure it is traktor. IV adjusted my latency and tried many different combos all to no success. I have updated drivers disabled wifi antivirus and followed the entire window 7 tuning tips. There is no pattern to the clicks I can listen to an entire song and it will be fine then an hour later listen to the same song and it will have tons of pops and clicks. My audio and load meters are also not even coming close to hitting the red. Please can anyone help me!

 

Do you get the same problem when not using Asio4all?
Have you tried using DPClat or similar program to check for latency spikes?

And yes I do get the same problem without asio. And I use a latency checker and I once again didn't even come close to hitting the yellow or red my system is supposively more than capable of playing back clean audio.

 

Ok, you mentioned that the problem only occurs now and then - do any spikes appear during the pops+clicks?
Might be worth trying a different version of Traktor too and different driver versions for your sound card.

 

No. The pops have no correlation to the spikes. And the spikes never even hit the yellow

And how do I download a different version of traktor?

 

NI Customer Support can usually provide installation files if you no longer have them. Sound card drivers are worth a shot too
