Okay. I record all the tracks using Reaktor. I have one audio track with a file used by recording Reaktor ensemble, an instrument track with a Reaktor ensemble, and another instrument track with a Reaktor ensemble. I hit play, the sounds start and then skip, skip, skip. I have fiddled around with the buffer settings and what have you. The sound still skips, even during bouncing. Is there any certain settings I am missing or is there a lack of CPU or does this have something else to do with the rumored problems when using Reaktor files in Pro Tools?

    indeed there are problems :(

    one suggestion was:

I was desperate to solve the problem with reaktor and my protools le 7.3.1. becouse I wanted to use Aerobic , synebeat ,... but as all u know there was ... well ... still is a timing problem ...

I think I have found a solution ! ( at least it works for me )

    1. Create an Instrument track
    2. Put reaktor on
    3. open a sequenced instrument
    4. now it doesent work properly! RIGHT ?
    5. on instrument track select any audio input ( the default on instrument tracks is no input )
    6. now it should work

    another suggestion:

go to Setup>Playback Engine in Pro Tools and UNcheck the 'ignore errors' option.

also, i suggest you also only use 1 Reaktor Ensemble at a time and try and record it as soon as you can :|

i also note that Pro Tools Audio tracks default to Elastic Audio sometimes. unless you want it make sure that is off because it uses up CPU.

good luck, and let us know how you are getting on ;)

I'll try this stuff later, thanks, and hopefully I won't have to redo anything.
