Am I the only one who uses Maschine and plays instruments?! The workflow between Logic Pro X and Maschine is mind numbing and excruciatingly time consuming, also I have to trouble shoot every time. I would love to just make a beat, pick up my bass and rock. Use the sounds and effects from NI without having to use a third party. This would be like a dream to me. It really would. I would love to be able to bring in a WAV to be remixed, chop it up in maschine, use some live music integration and vox, and not have to go third party. Please god almighty or universe or destiny or fate please please let this manifest..... Please!

Although it might not be in the way you want or expect, all of what you say is possible and I do it all the time (no need for anything other than Maschine unless recording from >2 sources at a time e.g., drum kit with multiple microphones).

Can you provide me with a link that can show me the way. Cause this logic route is kicking my ass. Thx

I don't know of any tutorial, walkthrough, or video that shows this way, but it really just comes down to figuring out what it is you want to do and finding how Maschine lets you achieve that. So what is it specifically that you want to be able to do in just Maschine with no Logic?

. I have an Apollo with a lot of great plug ins for bass and guitar. Typically I make the beat. Then export into logic (cause rewiring makes me lose half a day) write the rest in logic. I play guitar, bass and scratch records and I want to include these elements into every mix. Just my workflow gets speedbumped by tech issues when simply I just need it to work. I dont want to spend half a day connecting maschine to this daw platform as a third party and then become a trouble shooter. I dont have time for it. That said if NI could just integrate a daw type platform with maschine it would literally save my day. Until then I am open ears on how to make this work out.

Sounds like you want audio tracks. See the sticky threads, NI said that will come eventually.

Have you ever tried just "sampling" your guitar, bass, and scratch riffs, licks, and phrases into Maschine and using audio that way? This is essentially what I do and have done for years. It's not for everyone and it is different from a traditional "audio track" approach, but I find it generally works very well and allows me to stay in Maschine and in the same headspace.

yeah...for me the maschine-software is already a daw. in 1994 I use an EMU-Sampler for recording my vocals and edit them inside with effects, dynamics, etc. - works fine and should also work fine in maschine-software. I got my maschine for a week now and I dont miss my cubase I worked mostly 25 years with. you can load and use all you other vst's and plugins - so...lets start production ;)
