I'm not really sure if any venue is useful for this question...

Is Native Instruments planning on supporting Audio Units in Mac OS X soon? I'd love to start using Logic 5 in OS X, but I don't because I use Absynth and Kontakt in most tracks. Emagic claims they've created some frameworks to make the transition from VST easy; I'm slightly skeptical of this claim, but it would be nice for my suspicions to be wrong. I just wonder what the word is.

    Anyone care to share?

    Thanks,
    Bill/Warmdesk

me too - I'm a bit concerned about the bumpy road that may lie ahead as a mac/logic/vst user. I'm deeply invested in NI vst products - Reaktor, Absynth, Battery, Spektral Delay. I also just ordered the Logic 5.0 upgrade and purchased Logic Control. Logic development is now clearly biased toward OSX and the new audio units standard. this raises many questions for NI and other mac developers. will all NI products be ported over to audio units, and will we as vst users of these products get an opportunity to crossgrade to them? I'm sure they're working on it - it would be nice to hear from NI what the status of all this is. BC
