Authorisation problem

Further to my recent posts on this topic:

I've had a system crash on my desktop so I've had to reinstall software.

When i came to reauthorise the using the registration tool i was told I had too many authorisations and I had to deactivate one of my authorisations.

I thought the whole point about this was that I didn't have to do this if I was just reinstalling the system software on my computer, because of the system ID, which is supposed to be hardware specific.

I haven't changed my hardware.

One point that may be relevant - during the process I was asked to fill in various details, one of these being the date I purchased Reaktor. I may not have put down the same date as I put with my original registration - would this matter?

I'm having the same problem with Absynth 2 and Kontakt. I installed a new motherboard and HD.

Are you sure you want to deactivate this authorization?
Please note that you will not be able to authorize the same product for this hardware configuration again.

Deactivating the hardware profile can not be undone

 

The OS counts as part of the profile. Doing a clean install (not an upgrade) of the OS will force you to reauthorize. Do as Type III states, and you'll be all set.

 

So how do you de-authorise reaktor and the other software?
I have already run out of authorisations for Reaktor, and I need to re-install my OS.
