AUTO backup

Please add a so simple but usefull feature available in 99% softwares on the planet :

- Auto Backup, to force Traktor saving Collection and setting each n minutes, definded by user preferences and of course a flag to disable it when gig...

I support this request. Last night I has a collection file corrupted for the first time. I never had this problem before upgrading to Traktor 3. An auto-backup collection feature would be excellent... and I support the time based configuration of it. Perhaps setting it to occur once a week or so would be better than minutes so spare the extra processing... though I would expect it to be very quick- simply duplicating an existing file in the background while you work.

 

It's more an auto save than an auto backup what you are requesting. Auto backup is already there and creates on every save a new collection file.
With auto save the amount of collection files would get endless ( every x minute a new one )

Why are you not mapping "save collection" to a key combination and trigger it if you feel its required.
I think for Windows user this is still how it works, Mac user have auto save for years but since I don't see Traktor as a Mac app (it's some kind of multiplatform difficult to maintain, no one want to touch it to add new features ) I don't expect exclusive Mac functionality.
