is it me or the new update 2.6.1 ?

if i switch into auto gain on i can no longer see where traktor sets the gain pot / dail because its grayed out?

The previous version i could still where Traktor sets the gain which was good because it gives be a starting point for manual adjustments with soft take over (direct mode).

    anyone else?

Have you enabled BPM/analysis lock on any tracks?

is traktor doing something different now once it analyses tracks? gain wise ? is there no need to see where the auto gain is being set?

it seems strange because its very useful to see what its doing visually if you need to make any adjustments etc manually
    ---
I've just read a few posts about this...stupid..

So basically you need to unlock any track you have already spent time on gridding ..just so you can see what the auto gain is doing?

I though the previous version was stupid in making you switch between auto gain and relative gain but this is far worse.

I hope they are looking to put it back as was.... whats wrong with auto gain being initially set and soft take over if you want to adjust it

Grid lock will prevent any changes being made to the track gain. You must disable the lock to change the autogain value, and you must only re-enable the lock once the track has been unloaded for it to save your changes.

Although the pot does not show anything when the track is locked the value underneath the pot still shows the autogain value.

As we have the selective analysis we need selective lock for your tracks.
This would allow you to protect what you desire without hindering your usage.

Good suggestion. Please post that in the feature requests area so it can get considered by the developers.
