AUTO MASTER

Hi I have latest version of Traktor Pro 3. (3.1.1 8)

Is anyone else having problems with AUTO Master? When on Auto it is not always automatically selecting Master on the deck currently playing. Going between deck A and B. I'm not using deck C and D.

Just wondering if noone else has this problem then it could be just me and will need to reinstall again. Thanks.

 

Make sure the deck that is playing is also on air, line fader 100% and crossfader not across. Or remove check in preferences 'Only OnAir-Decks Can Be Master Deck'.

 

Interesting I'll try that. I don't always have the line fader all the way up... sometimes leave it 80 percent for headroom etc. Could that be problem... I'll try and then get back.

 

I have found the problem. ITs fine even if faders are not all the way up. Thats not the issue. But As I have samplers open. I use them for firing a siren fx. After when I do that. Deck C is stealing the master button and keeps it there. So now even though I am nolonger pressing Deck C.... all I am doing is going between Deck A to B. A and B is not stealing back the master any more. Any thoughts?

 

... to add to that ..... thats because every time I fire the siren..... Deck C play button remains on. I have to hit the Cue button on C to stop.... then A and B get the master back again. So I am gonna have to remember to hit the cue button on Deck C after I hit it each time.... hmm. I need to look into this stopping itself after I hit the shortcut to play the Siren on Deck C.

 

Go to 'Preferences -> Transport -> Remix Decks can be Tempo Master := uncheck'
