Has anyone gotten a response other than an auto generated one from NI about the audio pops? I've fine tuned my PC and doubled the RAM and run nothing but Taktor on this PC. The sound card does not work properly on the S4. If some of the audio cards work, maybe there is a defect in the sound card build?

I've wasted too many hours testing different configs and Latency setting for it not to work. I've been using the Audio 8 as a work around.

I'm wondering what would happen if you formatted your computer with a proper operating system...

    No, I mean WIndows 7 :p

I know it might be hard to take in, but Vista really is just a mission; completely bulky and generally poor on performance, especially resource usage. Thats why Microsoft released Windows 7 so quickly after Vista, because they even said in a press release that Vista 'was a mistake' haha!

I would seriously consider formatting to 7 and checking the difference. Besides, having 7 around isn't such a bad idea either. It's WAY faster than Vista for almost everything.

I know this means you'll probably have to buy it, unless you can aquire it by other means, so if this is a no-go, then unfortunately you're stuck with the others who also have the same problem, even the majority who are, in fact, using Windows 7 anyway. Sorry :(

You can always hang in there for the new driver which will be released...... imminently ? :O
