Automating Reaktor as a VSTi in Cubase SX V1.05

This was possible in versions up to 1.03 using methods familiar from the days of Logic 4.8.1 and cubase VST 5

Now the method was different in SX in that one had to select both input and output ports as Reaktor VST ports

In the current version of SX the option of a VSTi midi input port is no longer recognisedf and cubase will not record cc data any longer from the reaktor control panel, or so it seems.

Does anybody know a work around and could the native Instruments sevelopers give this matter some attention

I use a windows platform by the way but I understand from the Cubase.net forums that it would be the same on a mac.

Please post your findings on the cubase.net thread. Maybe we can get Steinberg's attention and have them change the behavior back to the way it was prior to SX 1.05. I have rolled back to 1.03 for now.
