Is it possible to record automation, of FX parameters for example, across a whole song rather than just for a pattern? I've done some mucking with a filter on the Master out and I'd like to automate it so I can export the song. I'm not sure how else I would get something like a long filter sweep into the rendered audio.

Thanks for Maschine by the way. I haven't been this creative making music for a long time. :) You should charge more for it. ;)

Ah. Thank you got the link. I guess automating the parameter in the DAW might be another solution. I'll see if I can do it in Live instead. Thanks again for the redirection to that thread.

It would be very handy if you could allocate an automation control to a specific pad- allowing you to create an automation lane for the entire song under one pattern that could be song length. Like if you could load an effect-like module to a pad called "automation router" and from within it you could choose any group/pad/sound/parameter within your project and lay down automation for it right there, instead of in-place throughout the song. This would be very handy for keeping track of all of your automation in one place.

-Maybe? maybe it would be too complicated, but I would love to be able to easily look at all of my current automation. you would even be able to "mute" automation tracks this way for auditioning purposes.
