I have modified the SIAC (EMS Synthi emulation) ensemble - well no real modification just did the ID compression thingie so that IDs are below 100- because the Kore knobs would not work otherwise. I got it working eventually, but now recording the knob movement in Ableton doesn't work.

    any ideas?

btw. am happy to share the patch if anybody wants it

Sure. Go to the sound manager page in Kore and rearrange your pages. Live only recognizes the first 128 automation IDs, and chances are that some other pages are occupying those (such as master pages, morphing, etc.)

As for the other issue (Kore only recognizing IDs < 100), in Reaktor's properties your max ID must be set higher than the max ID in use.

spot on! That did the trick. I thank you once more ew.

btw. what role does the base id parameter play in all of this. Should it be equal to the minimum automation id in use?

It doesn't have to be, and if you're using multiple instruments in the same ensemble, it shouldn't be. The base ID's mostly for separating the automation IDs if you have multiple instruments in the same ensemble.
