Where do I find the Button in Tractor DJ iPad to select the cruise mode to play a whole playlist continuously? I searched all videos and forum thread but cant find it. There is just an explanation for the Tractor Pro Programm.
    Thank You

in my opinion this would be a simple new option that NI MUST include in the future update,
at home i use the automix crossfade function on the Traktor pro 2 all the time for listening to music,
and i would love to have this function on the Traktor DJ on my Ipad for listening to music on the Ipad on the go,

I bought the app specifically to use in cruise mode. I assumed it would have this basic feature. It's been a waste of money to date. Hopefully cruise mode is added soon.

would be nice to see it as a feature - it's very handy if i'm playing all night in a venue and want to take a break but leave my tunes playing rather than the venues - i also use it at home to get a feel for sets in the background when i'm working

Use djay for this. I don’t see this being a necessary feature for Traktor. Way more _performing_ features they could add before an auto mix.

You mean lazy mode? Come on, Traktor is for the DJing, not pretending to! (as much as one can on an iPad).
It would certainly be the least used feature for me.

Traktor Pro 2 and Serato DJ (The best DJ softwares for PC and Mac)) have cruise (automix) mode. Djay 2 (great software for IOS) has automix mode.
Why not cruise / automix mode in Traktor DJ?.
Unlike some experts DJs are saying here! This feature is usefull in some unexpected situations (ex. toilet, etc).
    It would be great!

i really don't understand why there are anti cruise mode posts here at all,
    :)
nobody wrote here that they are mixing in a live situation with cruise mode,
i would love to have this function in a future update so i can use traktor dj as a generic player on my ipad for listening to music i have in my playlists,
also it's great for a simple transition of tracks if it's used for a background music or going to toilet when performing ...........
i use the cruise mode at home on my TP2 on my desk computer all the time for listening to music,
i'm not an expert but i guess this is a simple thing to implement,
i do agree that more things can be made to have an evolution of the traktor dj and it's workflow for live performance,
and cruise mode is one of them and probably the easiest to implement,

    wutt he said!

in every development there are limits and priorities, TRAKTOR DJ is simply the best DJ app today (even if we still have the AUDIO2 issue on iOS8). This is an app on a mobile OS, there must be compromises, not every function is there from Traktor Pro, and I think it's cool like that. It's simply impossible to have the exact same app on computers and tablets/phones. I'm not against the cruise mode, don't get me wrong, but for me Traktor DJ is a performing tool, not a home entertainment system. I would rather see remix decks feature, or iMashine compatinility.

The point is you are not at all limited to what apps you have installed on your iPad. They are all affordable, and if you need auto-mix, just switch to another app (djay) that has it. It's literally two taps away.

The only time I have used Automix/Cruise on a mobile device is when I have sound/PA rentals for Mardi Gras floats. While it may seem like the sexier option to stick with NI's app; however, I've found that the automix on Algoriddim's DJay Pro is a fairly bulletproof alternative in this case. I'm able to run it on my iPod Touch and iPad Air. My only beef is that I haven't been able to find how to save the full playlist to loop it for hours on end. So, I end up loading the tracks multiple times into the quere.

    good luck

Assign the playlist you want djay pro play/loop auto to the playlist option in automix and start play.
    If that's what you want

I always have a 20 min set pre-recorded (in several genres) ready to play when I need a break...or I give another DJ a turn, lol!

Hi there, auto mix is a useful tool to any dj software. So are you saying that the other software developers are stupid to include it in their products? Why does NI have it in his Traktor Pro softwares for PCs and not the IPAD? Well they think is not profitable as they cannot sell the software in a very ridiculous amount so no need to waste their time to include it. NI is just after money, money, money. Another example is their controllers/mixers. All other major manufacturers have made theirs a stand alone. The Traktor s4 MK3 is more expensive than the Denon MC6000 MK3 which has this feature. The list is just endless. NI is like Apple who think that regardless of some of the shortcomings of their products, people will buy it if it has their stamp on to. Until people start shunning their products they will just ignore all their users complaints. I just regret buying the S4 Mk3 that you can only use with Traktor Pro and its not a stand alone with the mic been attached to the other channels. Its just ridiculous can you can't use it with other DJs when you have the mic using the channels.

Apps are so inexpensive. Just buy another app for auto crossfading/cruise mode! This app is for interacting with...thus the name Traktor "DJ". One thing that would be nice to have would be time remaining in track and/or beats counter.

Yea, that does suck... I guess. I use a Z1 with the Traktor app as a compact backup system. If I'm using my S2 MK3, I'm probably going to use my computer for the full range of possibilities! Why would you bother with a DJ app? The S4 is a pretty awesome controller for the regular Traktor software... Do you have/use a laptop? Perhaps you would have been happier with more of a modular system (F1, Z1) for doing either Pro3 or TDJ. Sorry you're having buyer's remorse!
