Aux send levels for groups

I have a large drumkit on a single instrument with each drum sound as it's own individual zone. I want to set up 4 different Aux Effects & control the amount of send, to these effects, for each group. This is how most instruments work but Kontakt doesn't appear to do this!

I am aware of Group Insert Effects for each group but the main Effect (Reverb) i want to use is'nt in the list. I feel like using the work Boll**ks at this point.

Does anyone know how this could be achieved?

Hi Ian,
You can add the reverb as an instrument level Send Effect and then add Send Levels as a group effect and set the level there. I think send effects are to groups much what aux effects are to instruments.

 

I have added reverb as a send Effect/Instrument Send FX. I have also, for a single group, added the sends option to a slot.

Whilst editing only that group (as indicated in the group editor) i can indeed adjust the send level to the reverb however, moving the send level down to 0db still allows the effect to be audible. Even clicking 'Byp' (Bypass) still allows the reverb to be heard (Quite substantially i might add). This is not a very good send control if it can be heard when bypassed.

I am starting to think that Kontakts effects section is not up to the task.

By default Kontakt loads a Send Levels effect in the last Insert Effects slot. If you want to have group specific send levels you'll need to delete that or the mixed output of all groups will be fed to the sends. Forgot to mention that. Hopefully that'll fix it.
