avid transport/mix/control

    Have any of you used one of the Avid controllers to manageKontakt? Looks like you can use it to set up a multi instrument assigning patches, midi channels, rout outputs, even balance instrument levels all without using the mouse... I'm wondering if any of you can confirm..

    Haven't tried it myself, but all it comes down to is whether the Avid can be configured to send program changes or MIDI CC's (or other MIDI data -- MIDI notes, etc.) If it can, then yes, Kontakt could receive it.

    This is assuming Avid allows the Avid controllers to function as traditional MIDI devices. I'm not sure about that.
