B4 II stressing me out!

Ok, so no-one answered my last post...
Do I smell or something?
I figured that maybe I am having trouble because
I havent registered my product.
So I have tried to register it, without having any joy?
Is there anybody out there?

I have exactly the same problem! - I've been happily using the original B4 for many years and thought that B4 II would be a simple update to it. What a disaster! Following the installation instructions, I ran the 'Registration Tool' but the link did not work, I then tried to down load something called the NI Service Center, but this also failed. Running the VST within Nuendo caused all sorts of pops and bangs requiring the computer to be re-booted.

I bought B4II before christmas as I read it was being discontinued and wanted to try it.

Your posts got me panicking that maybe NI would longer authorise this now discontinued software so I put it on my laptop last night.

It took a long time and was very frustrating however it is possible.

Are you still experiencing problems?

I downloaded service center but couldn't then access it on my computer. This kept me up till around midnight. However I found that switching the computer off and then back on meant that the icon was then on the desktop this morning and I could then enter service center and register.

Juleseleven what is the nature of your problem with registration? Maybe I have been through the same thing.

 

I now have B4 II working correctly.

The 'Registration Tool' described in the installation process did not work, but I eventually managed to download 'Service Center' and was then able to register the product and also download an update (B4 II 2.0.4) that solved the problems I experienced when tryin to use the plugin.

It sounds even better than the original B4!

Garageband or Cubase still wont recognise the B4 though
