Having got B4-II seemingly working for a few months on Win7/64+Cubase 5, I then moved onto Cubase 6 and all has been working fine.

Then I ran out of disk space and had to rebuild my PC system disk again. About a day later, I finally surfaced with a fully working Win7 64, Cubase 6 and a myriad of plug ins (some via jBridge).....and the only thing that doesn't want to work is B4-II.

Whether I use the original install disk, or the 2.0.4 download it just won't stop coming up with that splash screen that says Demo, Register etc.

Even though Service Centre recognises that the product is present and authorised, the plug in doesn't. I've lost count of how many times I have deinstalled and reinstalled, gone through the Service Centre auto update loop. I even managed to get it such that I couldn't uninstall at one point. SPent hours on it.

Finally had enough of NI....€40 for VB3. It just works. Tiny download, sounds fine, doesn't use much RAM, don't care if it's not 64-bit.

Once copy protection starts getting in the way of functionality, I'm off....it's taken a while, but I've finally had enough of NI and the whole B4 product line. Should have stayed with the cracked version I first started out with all those years ago.....

I've plenty of products that use Syncrosoft and iLok....why do we need this cr*p.

Thanks and byeee....how much creative time have I lost in this?
