B4II w/ CME VX7

Hi ,

I saw the member dwetmaster posting on this forum about the B4II w/ the CME VX7. I wanted to send him a PM but I don´t have 20 post to be able to PM him, so I have to make a new topic:

I have the same setup and have some difficulties with setting everything up:
I mapped the drawbars and controls to the faders and knobs. everything works, but if I change the preset the drawbar doesn´t move. If I now move the faders the drawbars jump to the current position of the fader -.-

Do I have to set something that the faders move according the incoming midi data (like it says in the manual)

Normally, there is no incoming MIDI data until something is moved. If you change presets, you send out a Program Change message. The settings in the new preset will remain until you move one of your faders.

If you had a controller that dumped out the present fader settings while changing the preset THEN it might work. However, that's not typical behavior.

In my case, I never use presets. I have everything mapped to my controls and I just make my settings manually like I would have to do on a real Hammond.
