How do I go about saving everything necessary to open a project on another computer with maschine? FL has something like this called a zipped loop package. My hard drive is making some strange noises sometimes and I wouldnt mind backing up my files in case something unthinkable happens.

Back up your user content folder. The default on XP's My Documents\Native Instruments\Maschine- for Vista, use whatever Vista's calling My Documents.

uhhh yeah, You'll need to backup your user content folder, plus any samples you used lol There is no project export or collect and save, or anything else similar that most people would think to put inside of a production application these days lol.

so if you use a mixture of new samples, plus things you tagged in your library, them make sure you backup the database as well as the samples you used that are tagged in your database.

basically, there is no easy way to do it, it's a couple steps to make sure you have everything you need. If you have a backup of your database, and a backup of your sounds that have been imported into maschine, and a backup of your user data....you're good to go ;)

hopefully they put it in, it's important to be able to export a project with all the samples and settings needed to open that project fully from that exported folder.
