I have an Acer machine running Vista Home Premium with a Realtek Hi Def soundcard. Traktor works fine with my Numark Omni controller, but if I try to set i to the local card, the sound is extremely distorted. This may be due to the fact that when I set it to the Realtek, the only sample rate option is 48000 and all my music is at 44100. Is there a way to fix this?

Try switching to the different sample rates. I had to switch to 96000 and it cleared it up.

Also make sure you're using an ASIO driver. The conventional Windows driver is not suitable for Traktor use.

As I metioned, there are no options to switch the sample rate. 48000 is the only option when I set it to the local card.

@ telly...where can I download an ASIO driver that will work with Windows?

I would assume Google would yield the appropriate results. I'm a Mac user, so I don't have links handy.
