    Hey guys!
Fist time I post here but long time lurker LOL!
Sorry if i type something wrong, my main language is Spanish.
Just wanted 2 say that 2.1.2 seamed very stable and strong until I started my gig tonight. Always noticed the CPU rather higher than in 2.0.3 but at home when i tested it it crashed TWICE (shame on me) and had open iTunes, use the laptops headphone jack and throw in a mix while i downgraded to 2.0.3

Is it just me, or has other people had problems with 2.1.2?
    My laptops is a HP Dm4 i5, 4 gb and Win.7

Best of wishes to all From Puerto Rico

Its Sad Because I bought Tsp2 thinking it would be as solid as my 1.2.7 (tsDUO) and I was wrong..... I hope the stability gets better in time.

really the best program for dj's is serato....!
i buy pioneer ddj -t1 and i'm disappointed.... if i turn back the time i buy pioneer ddj-s1 with itch!
i play 2 years with SSL and never crashed!

man i'm very lucky to have serato...if a friend of you have it..
    try to play with this..
you don't have fantastic effects like traktor but you have a good dj program!

I know lots of "monkey see monkey do" djs with serato where they always crash... Even I sold a SSL3 brand new cuz of it sending my music to the recycle bin all the time.
Ive been rockinking TSP2 for over a year now with out one crash! I use a Sony viao and it works great with TSP2. Most of the time its problems with the lap tops is my guess.

Get a macbook pro if your going to run TSP2.. I wouldn't even bother without one. No crashes on a i5 13" 2011 model blown out with ram. I store my library on a 500gb WD FW800 Passport Pro and in a year haven't had a crash

    LOL!

rocking TSP/TSP2 ever since and always laughed about the ssl guys having issues all over the place (includig my brother who uses a mac AND ssl and always failed with his equipment hardcore when we were playing together - me on a 4yrs old win laptop and TSP2).

i've seen ssl users having all kinds of issues from files not playing, music stopping because there was a dustball under the needle, etc pp

search for the error 20cm in front of the computer and in 90% you find it there!

but to get back on topic:
what exact issues do you find with 2.1.2?

serious questions - serious answers. otherwise thread gets closed.

    ---

Hey guys! Thanks to all for your reply. I REALLY dont think its my computer because it runs 2.0.3 PERFECTLY! No random CPU loads and... Just no problems but the bugs it already has witch dont bother me much at all. The 2.1.2 update is for some reason heavier in the cpu load. Idle with nothing running it would be jumping around from 40% to 80% When 2.0.3 is idle 10% and when playing with 2 tracks effects and analyzing files it goes up to MAX 30%. Ive used Serato in the past but felt that the software would limit me. With Tsp2 I feel like their is no limits to my creativity! For me 2.1.2 is bad. Might be stable for others.

why would anyone be analysing files while playing a gig is beyond me... all files should be analysed into your traktor collection before you play live ALWAYS... your just giving traktor a reason to cough and splutter by giving it too much stuff to do....!
Serato is a swear word on here..!

I noticed 3 new bugs in 2.1.2 without doing much testing and yes some bugs were fixed but new bug now appear in the new version so it's a trade off, therefore I stopped testing the new version and went back to 2.0.3. I imagine that some day in some future update, things will get fixed but I imagine this will take a very long time. My suggestion is use the best version that suits you for now. For me new features are not important if the stability of a new version is compromised. New bugs are a no no.

Man, I have almost the same laptop like you, and 2.1.2 is working fine, I play at least 4 times a week using mostly vinyl timecode and controller. Just to let you know...

    Bugs?

MasterMC, what bugs have you noticed? You should clarify so others can confirm if it's your system or something NI needs to fix.

i have a thread in the technical assistance forums but no one seems to reply to them

funny you say it could be my system when those bugs do not exist in version 2.0.3

the key word here is "bugs" when i run 2.1.2 i have bugs that i don't have in version 2.0.3. It's not my system like it or not.

    @ mastermc:

Noone actually understood for what bugs you are talking about.
If you are so sure it is not your system, just go back to the 2.0.3, if you are completely satisfied from this version.

no one understood that when you press cue you get a click sound ?

2.0.3 is the version i always used. 2.1.2 i just tried for a few days and really was not impressed.
