    Hello,

    Here is my setup:
2 x brand new Technics 1210 MK2 (both them last night)
2 x brand new Concorde Pro S cartridge
2 x brand new Timecoded Vinyl.

The problem is as in the print screen, the signal is not clear enough. the circles are in the middle of the panel and not in the outer zone. Please see attached Print Screen.

I also changed cables and same result. Also I tried with brand new Timecoded Vinyl White and same behavior.

What I am missing here ?

It doesnt matter if the sope is in the middle ....but when it is smaller, then u have a problem ;-) so be cool down...everything is OK...
So please Check also the weight of ur needle! When it is to small, the timecode signal dont come good out to the Audio8

    Hello and thanks for answering.

The cartridge and stylus are new. Also I know that this cartridge is taking between 2.0g and 2.8g and I set the weight at 2.5 g

    Is this ok ?

you can open the audio 8 settings tool and raise the input gain there. but other than that, as long as the scope shows two circles, it's all good.

If youre talking about channel b in the screengrab, that looks sufficient to me.

Yes indeed if I raise the gain to +18dB I get the correct signal.

Is this ok. The design suppose to get full signal using Control Vinyl on Audio 8 and not Phono.

By doing this I will increase the delay ? I dont know what to say.

That actually looks not-that-bad, I've spun problem-free with uglier circles than that. How does Traktor behave when you spin under these conditions? Is it still responsive under your ideal latency settings?

Actually the Tracktor is responsive. It acts normally in back/fw spinning (compared with CDJ that I used before).

The only problem that exists (and I do not know if this is normal behavior because I never used other Traktor setup than mine) is the BPM fluctuation. If the track is at 128.78 BPM, Traktor reports the PBM between 128.76 and 128.80 (the fluctuation is continuously and it is hard to determine precise PBM).

Is this how it should act ?

    Thanks

Could you please be more explicit ? I did not understood the idea of your message.

    Thanks

Sure. The motor of your decks act against the drag of your platters, meaning that the actual tempo of your your decks wobbles slighty.

or in other words: it's all good and normal - at least with your decks! ;)

the timecode signal is pretty small with my setup too, how can you raise it for using timecode vinyl, i can only raise it when it is on the phono setting. hopefully this thread isnt too old to get a response. thank you.

It should be on phono for vinyl, whether real or timecode.

Eh? Sorry, but my audio8 settings tool has Timecode/Vinyl and Line. I have it set to Timecode/Vinyl. At least, that is how I remember it. Not in front Traktor right now! Just so long as the signal goes through the phono preamp...
