    Hello guys!
I bought a midi-keyboard and wanted to connect it to my pc.. but bandstand doesn't get any signal..
What's my fault? Can anyone create a step-2-step instruction for me?
    Would be very nice!

What midi interface are you using? All should be well as long as you've connected the keyboard's midi Out to the interfaces midi in and you've set up Bandstand to receive on that port (i.e. do this in File/Audio-Midi setup/Midi button/Input Interface)

If it's a USB controller keyboard, you might have to install drivers first. Other problems might arise if you don't have it switched on before you open Bandstand (or any other MIDI software), at least if you *can* switch it on.

Other than that, you should be able to select it as the used "in" device in Bandstand's settings.

I use the standard gameport midi device for that. and my problem is: other softwares get midi signals from the keyboard, but not bandstand..
or is there any new driver I should install? (-> SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio, Onboard)

What have you selected in Bandstand under File/Audio-Midi setup/Midi button/Input?

As I said, in Bandsand select File (top left of Bandstand screen) then: Audio-Midi setup/Midi button/Input. You wll see lists of inputs and outputs. Select the input that corresponds to the name of your PC interface. Launch Bandstand on its own from your desk top icon to do this.
