    hi
I would like to know if kore2 reacts to back change and program change to choose one of its sound/multis
    and
what happens if instead a bank/program change is intended to reach one instrument already loaded.
    thanks

You can change between performance presets via program change, if that's what you're asking. And, you can enable/disable program changes per channel by using the MIDI filter.

    thanks for your reply
    so, if I understand,
I could not send a PC to load a sound in one "slot" of a performance like a multitimbral device: I just could select a kore performance if channel PC is filtered,
or select sounds in the vst that responds to that channel if enabled .
    Is this correct?

    No- it's not.

When I say channels, I'm referring to source channels in Kore. So yes, you can change the program of what's loaded into the slot.

And with performance presets, you're recalling various states of a single performance. You don't change the actual performance.

    thanks very much
so I could prepare a default performance with 16 slot (each for one midi channel) to be loaded every time I want
and then send BC/PC to kore, to select one of the instruments of kore library?
    example:
I send BC=2,PC=112 on channel 1 and kore loads "yorik" in slot 1
if this is correct, where to find these BC/PC numbers to be sent from an external device?

No- that's not what I'm saying at all.

You load plugins into each Kore channel. When you send a program change, it will change the program on that plugin. The programs will be from the bank that's loaded into the plugin, or the currently selected program list for those NI plugins that use program lists.

Is there some trick to allow a midi controller to send a command to load a particular sound/performance?
I am able to write some java utility if necesary..

I have been looking for this too. (I think)

My plan was to select a sound with a clip, so I could have different sounds in one track in kore 2. This track sends his audio to a track in ableton
And different midiclips in the same track in ableton turn on different sounds in one track in kore 2....

I hoped this was possible with "program change", but I had the idea people didn't understood my question.

I think that it is possible what you are trying to accomplish:
put a PC at the very beginning of each of your clips.
but this will work if you fill the kore slot with an instruments that is able to change its sound (like sfz+ with a GM soundfont), according to the answers above.
still I hope there is some trick also to change the instrument in the kore slot, even if some geeky procedure has to be performed.

There isn't. What you can do is load all the instruments you need as one performance, and then mute what you don't need via performance presets.
