    Hi,

    I have finally got my x1 being recognised but the knobs do not seem to do what I thought they were preprogrammed to do. How can I get it to select the next track, control the effects etc. Have Scrtch Duo and using timecoded vinyl.

    Sorry for hijacking the thread, but I have the same problem with Scratch Duo but I don't use the vinyls (my setup is a single X1 and an external mixer).

    The X1 is being recognized, and I can manually configure it with "MIDI Mapping" in the Traktor preferences, and that seems to work, but it is really tedious and from what I understand, there should be a basic working configuration by default.

    I've read that there should be some restore button on a X1 tab in the preferences, but I can't seem to find that tab.

    My Traktor version is 1.1.0.006, I'll try to update to the latest version and reply back if that helps :)

    Ok, updating to 1.2.6 solved everything, neat X1 integration and all. Lovely!
    Should've read the instructions a bit more carefully, but I was so excited :p

    Hi,
    You need to run a newer version of Traktor. The X1 is plug and play from version 1.2.3 upwards. Make sure to download the latest version for the best experience :)

    Hi,

    I have downloaded the update, it mentioned the x1 when it reinstalled, i ticked yes, and still nothing. The controller is not even being recognised in the controller editor. Just keeps coming up about the Maschine controller needing updates, I click ok, but not downloading it, and then it only has the maschine map available. And the controller lights turn on and then nothing!
    Its something so simple but I have no idea what!


    Woohooo I have sorted it. Perseverance! I'm off for a mix :)

    i just downloaded the traktor scratch pro upgrade to take over my traktor scratch duo. In duo the x1 was working mint. Now with pro everything is working fine except the effects area. anyone in the know?

    Hey,

    I seem to be having same problem. How did ya fix it? (Samgawthorp).

    I'm thinking its something simple....

    Stupid thing is I had the X1 working fine, then updated Traktor something else, now the X1 is dead.....
