    Hi everyone,

    Is there a way to bulk import a file folder full of Apple Loops into K4? I've been interested in using Apple Loops (I'm on DP, not Logic) but want to avoid having to drag and drop each individual loop into the map of an instrument. I just tried batch importing a small file folder of apple loops, but it did not seem to work.

    Suggestions?

    Thanks!

    No, there isn't an automatic way to do it.

    You can either look into a third-party tool such as Chicken Systems Translator which will probably do it, or you could use a mouse automator program to design a batch conversion process (I use iKey, others use QuicKeys).

    AppleLoops-> batch

    Yes, Translator batch imports AppleLoops into Time-Machine-enabled Kontakt .nki files.

    The exception is CAF-type AppleLoops, but that's going in shortly. If anyone wants to send us a couple, please do.
