i have installed battery 3 on my mac G5 1.8 dual, everytime i try to open a song containing battery 3 it crashes logic, also it wont open in stand alone mode. This is the second time it has happened, the first time i done a clean uninstall then reinstalled and it worked fine.5 days later the same problem has occured.Logic runs perfectly with all my other plugs,so i know its a problem with battery. Also when i try to revalidate with logics au manager it crashes logic again. Any help will be very appreciated.

Also should i uninstall battery 2,could this be causing the problem,or maybe could it be the battery 3 update causing the problem.cheers

    Are you running 10.4.9?

Try deleting your *.plist (~/Library/Preferences/) file for Battery3.

im using osx 10.4.8,its just happened again,i deleted the plist, but again its happened.native have tried telling me its not a known problem,im not so sure they are telling the truth because reading on this forum some people are getting the same problem.
im using a g5 dual 1.8 with 1.5 gig of ram.its very frrustraiting because its a great plug but this problem is taking the piss.
i wasnt going to install osx 10.4.9 because i heard it was very problematic,do you think its worth installing.cheers

    i have the same problem

im running imac intel core2 duo logic the newest updated version (i think 7.1.2 or somthing) and whenver i open battery 3 as an AU plug in it works fine until i play around with the cell tab or any of tabs in battery then it makes logic shut down it works fine in standalone
im thinking it might be with the updated version of logic because before i updated it it worked fine and now other than the battery 3 problem i'm having other defects

i am suffering in the same way -

I have an imac 1,83ghz core duo, oc x 10.4.9
i have just bought battery 3 version 3.0.1.005
    and guitar rig 2,2,1,006
    amusing logic pro 7.2.3

i have entered a post requesting help in the guiatr rig forum too.

logic either exits and loses all saved data or the mouse pointer goes to the coloured revovling disc icon and i have to force quit.

this is a nightmare and only started happening when i installed NI software.

    some one help!

dubfx (or a lack of dubfx as it doesnt work now)

    Hi all,

You are not alone! I have a dual quad core mac pro and i am running logic 7.2.3 with 10.4.9 osx. I have recently installed battery 3 but every time i load another plugin on an instrument track, or use battery3, battery crashes logic. I have sent a report to apple via there tool that comes up after the crash so wether this will help or not i don't know. Hope so as it's obviously unusable like this!

I am using an Imac (intel core dual 2.33) using Logic 7.2.3 and os x 10.4.9. I am able to not only use battery with no problem but am also able to open several instances of battery on multiple tracks.

I share this to let you know that I have spent ALOT of time in the past trying to make programs work only to find out that there no possible solution. Even though I do not have the solution (I really, really wish I could help) There is light at the end of the tunnel for those with similar system/software config. as mine.

I'm doing quite a bit of hunting online to see if I can find some info for you guys but the most from what I've heard on other forums the culprit seems to be os 10.4.9. I guess if you were extremely desperate you could reinstall os x from the system cd (installing the earlier os version) and see if that works...If you were EXTREMELY desperate!
