Battery 4 - bring back the overlay envelope view

This was a HUGE reason why I used Battery 3 because I could accurately adjust envelopes with nice curves AND see what I was doing. So NICE. PLEASE bring this back, NI! It's still so frustrating to see it fade out the waveform when I adjust an envelope.

+1 big time. I know you should use your ears rather than your eyes as much as possible but the graphic representation of the waveform under the envelope was hench for work flow.

 

It's so maddening that the envelope overlay isnt a thing over the sample in Batterry 4, like it was in Battery 3. This is maddening! Along with no zero point crossing snapping, its like Battery 4 is a regression from Battery 3! The only thing they improved was...nothing!

 

Going on 5 years now....no word from NI if they will ever bring back this feature?

 

It's never coming back....NI are a bunch of fools.

I won't even buy B4 with the deep discount they are currently having on it.

 

I got battery on this discount they have going only to find out these features still have not been added. I just made this account hoping I was simply overlooking something but I'm kinda disappointed. Is there any use in contacting support about this or submitting feature request?
