I hope the new browser menu for patches is not going to be the default style for new NI products - it means having to have the browser open to change presets. With B3 you can load kits from the dropdown menu at the top too, same with Reaktor, and not have to have an additional browser extension open.

I don't see any issue there. Whether you click the menu or the browser button...

The issue is there is no menu any more. You can only change kits with the browser open which takes up extra screen space.

the extra browser should be only a real issue if you still work on SVGA. you can close it afterwards again.

on the other side, I'd like to have it bigger :D

No it's a real issue for me regardless of screen resolution, I don't want a browser open just to change patches, I prefer to close it and use a dropdown menu like I can in B3 and Reaktor. It's always a step backwards to take away choices from users.

Ah yes but that's the file menu - you can load individual kits through it but it doesn't list all the kits in menus when you click on the Kit name at the top.
