Whenever I enable the Reverse button in the Quick Access controls, the beginning and end of the affected sample plays a loud popping sound. Does anybody know what is causing this or how to fix it?

    any factory sound

I only checked with the factory installed sounds/samples.
So any of those will do ...

FYI : I am using the Mac version (on OSX 10.9) so it may be related to this particular version/combination !

I just tried this with several unedited samples from the 808 Detailed Kit and they all had the click/pop issue: Kick 808 13, Snare 808 1, LowConga 808.

However, I have found a way to manually fix the issue, at least for the samples I've tested, so I don't hear any audible clicks at the beginning or end of the sample. I edit the waveform so that a minimal amount of the 'end' of each reversed sample fades out by selecting Edit Range around the beginning of the sample on the timeline and clicking 'Fade In'. If there are still audio issues, I expand the Edit Range slightly and try again.
