I have been working on editing some drum kits. . I have the most up to date version battery open in Logic (9.1.3), with no plug-ins, no other tracks, just Battery.

I add wav files and other files to battery, but when I try to save and replace my old version of the drum kit, it consistently crashes Logic, and I lose my work.

When I try to reload my drum kit, I will often get a message that a particular sample will not load because it is an unrecognized format - however it's a wav, so somehow that file got corrupted. Different files get corrupted when Battery crashes logic, and sometimes no files get corrupted - but it's not a corrupt file causing the crash - that's a result of the crash.

Has anyone else had this problem. For me it's 100% reproducable, and it sucks.

    Scott.

I have the same problem using Battery3 with DP7...Seems like the only work around is this...

When you open your song file...Re-load the preset on the Battery that you will use for the session. Then it will save fine even if you make changes, etc. Let me know if this works for you...
