Battery PTE 1.1 Multiple Output problems...

Can anyone help me?

I am running Battery PTE 1.1 on Pro Tools 5.3.1r2 in Mac OS 9.2.2 on TDM HD3 hardware.

I am unable to use Battery's multiple outputs because no matter what I do, the "Battery Slave" plug-in does not appear in my plug-ins menu even though the files are in the correct plug-ins folder. The Master loads and works fine, but I cannot access the "Slaves". I have tried reinstalling, but it makes no difference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

i have NO answer for you... i just wanted to chime in and say i feel your pain. i have been posting in the battery forum for the past several months complaining about the same exact problem. i still have no answer... i am so pissed. if by some miracle you get an answer that actually fixes this please please please let me know here in the forum.

the slave plugins are indeed nothing else than DirectConnect plug-ins. That is the workaround we found to introduce multiple outputs for a 2-channel-output interface (which is RTAS and HTDM). If the slaves are not there, your directConnect installation (as part of the pro tools installation ) seems to be incomplete. Either the "DirectConnect" plug-in is missing or the Streammanager system extension is missing or these two do not match each other. As far as I remember the DAE 5.3.1.r2 comes with a updated StreamManager, but the DC plug to use is still from the 5.3.1 (r1) install. That is what I can say about DC not working, maybe someone else here knows other things regarding DC?

Please also make sure to have the correct Battery slave plug in your DAE plug-ins folder (that one for HD of course, there is also one for Mix systems)
